Who runs Huddo
The data controller for this website and its early access list is Dominik Dyga, Poland. You can contact me at hello@huddo.app about your information, your signup or this policy.
This notice covers the website, its interactive examples and the signup list. It does not describe the future app's account, pact or payment processing. An app-specific policy will be provided before those services are available.
What we collect
| Information | What it's for |
|---|---|
| Email address | Contacting you about early access and launch. |
| Android or iPhone | Sending availability information relevant to your phone. |
| Signup time and consent version | Keeping a record of the choice you made. |
| Random referral codes | Understanding whether a signup came from a friend's link. Codes contain no names or emails. |
| Request information | Hosting and security providers receive technical information such as IP address and browser request details. The form uses an hourly hashed network identifier to limit abuse. |
| Messages you send | Replying to questions or privacy requests you send by email. |
Signing up is optional. Email, phone platform and an affirmative consent are required to join the list. We do not ask for your nicotine use, daily answers, health history, friends' contact details or payment information.
Why we use it, and on what basis
We use your email and phone platform to send messages about Huddo's early access and launch based on your consent, under Article 6(1)(a) of the GDPR. The checkbox is not selected in advance. You can withdraw your consent at any time.
We use signup and referral records to operate the list and understand whether people invite friends. Our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f) is running and improving this early access service. Referral links do not show your email to your friend or your friend's email to you.
We process limited request information to prevent abuse and keep the website available, and correspondence to respond to you, based on our legitimate interest under Article 6(1)(f). We may retain information necessary to meet a specific legal obligation under Article 6(1)(c).
We do not sell personal data or use it for advertising profiles. We do not make solely automated decisions with legal or similarly significant effects on you.
How long we keep it
We use a 12-month retention period from signup for early access records, unless you withdraw consent or ask for deletion sooner. Expired entries are excluded from exports and removed when list cleanup runs. Cleanup runs when the list receives a new signup; the operator also needs to maintain the list during inactive periods.
Hourly request-limit identifiers expire after about one hour and are removed on subsequent form requests. Hosting providers may maintain their own security logs under their policies. Correspondence is kept for as long as needed to resolve the request; legal obligations may require limited records to be retained longer.
Your choices and rights
You can leave the list at any time.
Email hello@huddo.app from the address you used and ask to remove your signup. Withdrawing consent does not affect processing that took place before withdrawal.
Where applicable, you can request access to your personal information, correction, deletion, restriction of processing and data portability. You can object to processing based on legitimate interests. We may need proportionate information to confirm your identity before responding.
You can complain to the authority where you live, work or believe an infringement took place. In Poland, the supervisory authority is Urząd Ochrony Danych Osobowych (UODO).

Adults and policy updates
The early access list is for people aged 18 or over. If you believe a person under 18 has provided information, contact us so we can review and remove it.
We will update the date on this page when the notice changes. A materially different use requiring consent will not rely on the consent you gave for this list.
